Lesson 9   她的汉语说得跟中国人一样好
She speaks Chinese like a native

Text 09-1   在教室   In the classroom

Dàshān: Mǎ kě, nǐ de zhōngwén yuè shuō yuè hǎole! 

大山： 马可，你的中文越说越好了！

Dashan: Marco, your Chinese is becoming good day by day!

 

Mǎ kě: Nǎlǐ nǎlǐ, wǒmen bān Wáng Jìng shuō dé gèng hǎo. 

马可： 哪里哪里，我们班王静说得更好。

Marco: You flatter me, In our class Wang Jing's Chinese is more good.

Dàshān: Zěnme hǎo? 

大山： 怎么好？

Dashan: How good? 

                                         

Mǎ kě: Tā de hànyǔ shuō dé gēn Zhōngguó rén yīyàng hǎo. 

马可： 她的汉语说得跟中国人一样好。

Marco: She speaks Chinese like a native.

              

Dàshān: Wáng jìng? Wǒ zěnme méi tīng shuōguò zhège míngzì? 

大山： 王静？我怎么没听说过这个名字？

Dashan: Wang Jing? Why have I never heard of this name?

                                                                                

Mǎ kě: Tā shì wǒmen de hànyǔ lǎoshī.

马可： 她是我们的汉语老师。

Marco: She is our Chinese teacher.

Text 09-2   在蛋糕店   In a bakery

Xiǎo lì: Bié chīle, nǐ yǐjīng chīle sān kuài dàngāole. 

小丽： 别吃了，你已经吃了三块蛋糕了。

Xiaoli: Stop eating, you have already eaten three pieces of cake.

Xiǎo gāng: Zhè shì zuìhòu yīkuài. 

小刚： 这是最后一块。

Xiaogang: This is the last piece.

Xiǎo lì: Nǐ zǒng shì chī tián de dōngxi, huì yuè chī yuè pàng. 

小丽： 你总是吃甜的东西，会越吃越胖。

Xiaoli: You always eat sweet things, and the more you eat, the fatter you get.

Xiǎo gāng: Nǐ fàngxīn, wǒ yīdìng bù huì biàn pàng. 

小刚： 你放心，我一定不会变胖。

Xiaogang: Don't worry, I won't get fat.

     

Xiǎo lì: Wèishéme? 

小丽： 为什么？

Xiaoli: Why?

              

Xiǎo gāng: Wǒmen jiā de rén dōu hěn shòu, chī bù pàng.

小刚： 我们家的人都很瘦，吃不胖。

Xiao Gang: The people in our family are very thin and don't get fat by eating.

Text 09-3   在山上   On the mountain

Xiǎo lì: Wǒ yǒudiǎnr hàipà. 

小丽： 我有点儿害怕。

Xiaoli: I am a little scared.

Xiǎo gāng: Zěnmele? 

小刚： 怎么了？

Xiaogang: What's wrong?

Xiǎo lì: Shānyuè gāo, lù yuè nán zǒu, wǒ yě yuè pá yuè lěng. 

小丽： 山越高，路越难走，我也越爬越冷。

Xiaoli: The higher the mountain, the harder the road to walk, and the colder I climbed.

     

Xiǎo gāng: Bùyòng dānxīn, yǒu wǒ ne, wǒ duì zhèr bǐjiào liǎojiě. 

小刚： 不用担心，有我呢，我对这儿比较了解。

Xiaogang: Don't worry, there is me, I know more about it here.

              

Xiǎo lì: Nà wǒmen xiān xiūxí yīxià, yīhuìr zài pá. 

小丽： 那我们先休息一下，一会儿再爬。

Xiaoli: Let's take a break first and then climb again.                     

                                                                                                       

Xiǎo gāng: Hǎo, yīhuìr wǒmen kěyǐ cóng zhōngjiān zhè tiáo lùshàng qù.

小刚： 好，一会儿我们可以从中间这条路上去。

Xiaogang: Okay, we can go on the middle road in a while.

Text 09-4   在小明家   At Xiaoming's home

Tóngxué: Xiǎomíng, nǐ de yǎnjīng zěnme gēn dà xióngmāo yīyàngle? 

同学： 小明，你的眼睛怎么跟大熊猫一样了？

Classmate: Xiao Ming, why do your eyes look like a panda?

Xiǎomíng: Wǒ zhè jǐ tiān jiǎo téng, méi xiūxi hǎo. 

小明： 我这几天脚疼，没休息好。

Xiaoming: My feet hurt in the past few days and I haven't rested well.

  

Tóngxué: Qù yīyuànle ma? Yīshēng shuō shénme? 

同学： 去医院了吗？医生说什么？

Classmate: Did you go to the hospital? What did the doctor say?

                               

Xiǎomíng: Tā ràng wǒ duō xiūxi. Xiūxi dé yuè duō, hǎo dé yuè kuài. 

小明： 他让我多休息。休息得越多，好得越快。

Xiao Ming: He let me rest more. The more rest, the faster I get better.

              

Tóngxué: Xià gè yuè de lánqiú bǐsài, nǐ néng cānjiā ma? 

同学： 下个月的篮球比赛，你能参加吗？

Classmate: Can you participate in the basketball game next month?

                                          

Xiǎomíng: Yīdìng néng cānjiā, yīdiǎnr yǐngxiǎng yě méiyǒu.

小明： 一定能参加，一点儿影响也没有。

Xiao Ming: I will definitely be able to participate, without any influence at all.
