Lesson 26
Which kind of “busy”  person are you

Nǐ shǔyú nǎ yī zhǒng “máng”
Which kind of “busy”  person are you

Gōngzuò zhōng de mánglù dàgài kěyǐ fēn wéi sān zhǒng:

Busyness at work can be roughly divided into three types:

Dì yī zhǒng máng, máng dé hěn bèidòng,

the first type is busy, which is very busy and passive,

zǒng shì bèi shìqíng zhuīzhe, gǎnzhe, rén jīhū chéngle gōngzuò de núlì;

总是被事情追着、赶着,人几乎成了工作的奴隶;

always chased by things, and people are almost slaves to work;

dì èr zhǒng máng, máng dé hěn zhǔdòng, máng ér bù luàn,

The second type is busy, busy actively, busy but not chaotic,

rén shì gōngzuò de zhǔrén;

人是工作的主人;

people are the masters of work;

dì sān zhǒng máng, máng dé yǒuxiē xūwèi,

the third type is busy, which is a little hypocritical,

yīnwèi zài tāmen de sīxiǎng zhōng,

because in their minds,

yǐjīng bǎ máng yǔ chénggōng, xián yǔ shībài liánxì dào yīqǐ,

busyness and success, leisure and failure have been linked together,

suǒyǐ, zhèyàng de rén zǒng shì xiǎng bànfǎ ràng zìjǐ máng.

Therefore, such people always find ways to keep themselves busy.

Nǐ shǔyú nǎ zhǒng máng ne?

What kind of busy are you?

Wǒ yǒu yīgè tǐhuì:

I have an experience:

Xiànshí zhōng, wǒmen bù yīdìng zhīdao zhèngquè de dàolù shì shénme,

in reality, we don't necessarily know what the right path is,

dàn shíshí fǎnxǐng, zǒngjié, què kěyǐ shǐ wǒmen bù huì zài cuòwù de dàolù shàng zǒu dé tài yuǎn.

but constant reflection and summary can prevent us from going too far on the wrong path.

Jùshuō, céngjīng yǒuyī wèi hěn yǒu gèxìng,

It is said that there was once a great director

jí ài màoxiǎn de dà dǎoyǎn dào nánměi cónglín pāi yǒuguān gǔdài yìnjiā wénmíng de jìlùpiàn.

who was very personal and adventurous went to the jungles of South America to make a documentary about the ancient Inca civilization.

Tā gùle 20 lái gè dāngdì rénwéi tā dàilù hé bānyùn xínglǐ.

He hired about 20 locals to lead the way and carry his luggage.

Zhè pī dāngdì rén gè gè dōu biǎoxiàn chūsè,

All of these locals performed well.

jǐnguǎn tāmen bèi zhuó chóngchóng de xínglǐ,

Although they were carrying heavy luggage,

dàn tāmen de jiǎolìguò rén, jiànbùrúfēi.

their feet were strong and they were able to walk like flying.

Yīlián sān tiān, tāmen dōu hěn shùnlì de shíxiànle yuán dìng de jìhuà.

For three days in a row, they all smoothly realized the original plan.

Dàole dì sì tiān, dà dǎoyǎn yīzǎo xǐng lái jiù cuīzhe dàjiā shànglù.

On the fourth day, the great director woke up early in the morning and urged everyone on the road.

Rán'ér, dāngdì rén què jùjué xíngdòng.

However, the locals refused to act.

Dà dǎoyǎn fēicháng zhāojí,

The big director is very anxious.

yī lái, dānwùle shíjiān, rìchéng jiù dé chóngxīn ānpái;

一来,耽误了时间,日程就得重新安排;

Firstly, the time is delayed and the schedule has to be rescheduled;

èr lái, huì yīnwèi fèiyòng zēngjiā ér ràng tóuzī rén bù gāoxìng,

secondly, investors will be unhappy because of the increased costs.

zhìyú zhè bù yǐngpiàn de tóuzī rén, kěshì yī wèi dàrénwù, tā kěbù gǎn dézuì.

As for the investor of this film, he is a big man, he dare not offend.

Jīngguò gōutōng, dà dǎoyǎn zǒngsuàn gǎo míngbáile,

After communication, the great director finally understood that

dāngdì rén zìgǔ jiù yǒuyī zhǒng xísú:

the locals have had a custom since ancient times:

Zài gǎnlù shí, yòng jìn quánlì de xiàng qián chōng,

when they are on the road, they try their best to rush forward,

dàn měi zǒu shàng sān tiān, biàn yào xiūxi yītiān.

but every three days they walk, they have to take a day off.

Dāng dà dǎoyǎn jìnyībù xúnwèn yuányīn shí,

When the great director further asked the reason,

dāngdì rén de huídá lìng tā shòuyì zhōngshēng.

the local people's answer benefited him for life.

“Nà shì wèile ràng wǒmen de línghún, nénggòu zhuī dé shàng wǒmen gǎnle sān tiān lù de píláo de shēntǐ.”

“那是为了让我们的灵魂,能够追得上我们赶了三天路的疲劳的身体。”

"That is so that our soul can catch up with our tired body after three days of driving."

Duōme fùyǒu zhélǐ dehuà!

What a philosophical word!

Zài zhège tíchàng hé gǔlì jìngzhēng de shídài,

In this era of advocating and encouraging competition,

we often just bow our heads and pull the cart,

and we don't think about and summarize this important step.

but also an efficient way of working.

Busy people, please give yourself more time to think.

Which kind of “busy”  person are you

Busyness at work can be roughly divided into three types: the first type is busy, which is very busy and passive, always chased by things, and people are almost slaves to work; The second type is busy, busy actively, busy but not chaotic, people are the masters of work; the third type is busy, which is a little hypocritical, because in their minds, busyness and success, leisure and failure have been linked together, Therefore, such people always find ways to keep themselves busy.
